Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • 1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, egg yolks and vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  • 2. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
