- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1-1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350°. Beat butter, cream cheese and granulated sugar until blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, milk powder and baking powder; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Chill dough 30 minutes or until slightly firm.
- 2. Scoop level tablespoonfuls of dough; roll in confectioners’ sugar. Place 1 in. apart on parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake until light brown, 10-12 minutes. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool.
